Evo Spatial Studio — Est. 2026

Screens that feel
like windows.

Spatial iOS technology using off-axis head tracking to create genuine depth illusion on any iPhone or iPad. No special hardware. Just the front camera — and a different way of seeing.

right now.

The Kooima generalised perspective projection — the same algorithm powering Nyx, Teo and Ora — running live in your browser. Activate your camera and move your head to see genuine off-axis parallax.

No data stored or transmitted. All processing is local. Nothing leaves your device.

Core Technology

One engine.
Three dimensions.

01 — Perception

Off-Axis Projection

The viewer's head position recalculates the camera's projection matrix every frame using the Kooima generalised perspective projection formula. Move left — the scene shifts right. The physics of a window, without the glass.

02 — Tracking

ARKit Face Tracking

The front camera tracks your head in 3D space at 60fps. No lag. No drift. Your movement drives the illusion — making it responsive to you, not to the device.

03 — Physics

Tilt Compensation

Tilt the device and the virtual world stays level. The accelerometer continuously corrects for device rotation — objects behave as if they exist in real physical space behind the screen.

04 — Environment

Light Estimation

ARKit reads your real-world lighting and maps it into the virtual scene. Your desk lamp changes the colour of the virtual world. The illusion breathes with your environment.

Products

Three apps.
One vision.

Each app explores a different dimension of the core spatial technology — from ambient calm to competitive play to intelligent companionship. All share a single proprietary rendering engine built from the ground up.

01

Nyx

Ambient Aquarium

A living aquarium that appears to exist behind your screen. Fish swim in genuine depth — lean left, see the left side of the tank. Tilt the device and watch them scatter.

In Development
02

Teo

Physics Maze Game

A ball-rolling maze game where the spatial illusion is the gameplay. Lean your head to peer around corners before committing your move. Ten handcrafted worlds.

03

Ora

Ambient Companion

An ambient AI presence that lives on your desk. Maintains natural eye contact. Answers questions, manages reminders, and reduces the cognitive overhead of a working day.

About

Built by Alex Evo.
Solo. From scratch.

Evo Spatial is a one-person studio building spatial technology for consumer devices. The core technology — off-axis head tracking projection — was developed independently and underpins all three products.

By day, an industrial software engineer. By night, building the spatial layer that consumer devices have been missing. Every app is designed, built, and shipped by one person who uses them daily.

Building in public. Follow the journey on X and YouTube — from bouncing shapes to living aquariums to intelligent companions.
